How can you not be excited about wireless power, 3d televisions, new phones, cars that read tweets to you while you drive (ok maybe not that last one)? But still, this is where the tech industry gets to show off its new toys. Much like the auto-show, some of these products may never make it to us consumers (hopefully twitter talking cars). | January 7th 2010 - Mobile - Updated January 13th Well it didn't come as a surprise to anyone but Google has teamed up with HTC to produce the Nexus One. Google held a press conference to unveil the new phone running Android 2.1. Currently the phones comes in 2 flavors: Unlocked for $529 and with a NEW 2 year contract on T-mobile for $180. So what does the Nexus One bring to the table? And what is T-mobile doing to screw over its existing customers? | EA shutting down 25 game servers |
| January 7th 2010 - Digital Playtime - Updated January 13th EA has decided to cut costs by shutting down some of its online servers for some sports titles. Servers for sports games from 2007 are understandably on the list...... Then there are titles like NBA Live 09 and Madden 09. Sounds like EA might be trying to force people to buy Madden 10 instead of holding onto that Madden 09 from 2 years ago. Tisk Tisk EA. I'm all for trying to save money, but there is no way Madden 09 has lost enough popularity to warrant a server shutdown. This seems pretty shady to me, but also something I've come to expect from EA. Maybe Google should let EA borrow there don't be evil mantra. Continue.... |

| February 2nd 2010 - Oddball February 2nd is Groundhogs day in America and Canada. If the groundhog sees his shadow then we have 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't, spring is on its way! Imagine sleeping and in the middle of the night and old white guy in a tux rips you out of your nice warm bed by the neck.
