Celtic Corner - You don't have to be Irish to enjoy
Formerly M & M Lounge, Celtic was remodeled in September of
2007.

There is plenty to do here. The bar has several flat screen tv's and a
projector used for either watching tv or playing Nintendo Wii. There
is pool (
free on Thursday nights) and darts. During the summer
there are also bean bag tournaments.

If you're in the neighborhood definitely a bar to hit up. There are
also plenty of U.B.O.B. there frequently.

Why drink anywhere else? - cept at my party house!

Just by what they've done to the outside of the bar you can tell the place is much nicer. The crowd here
is mixed with older locals during the week and 20 somethings on the weekends. This has changed
somewhat in the last couple months or younger people are coming during the week for pool and trivia.

Drinks prices are about average not the cheapest but definitely not expensive. Beer's run about $2.50 a
bottle. Mixed drinks vary but average around $4 to $5. The bartenders are very friendly and
accommodating.

There is a pool table that runs $1.25 per play. A full standing dart board that runs $.50 per play. The
bar also plays host to Bean Bag nights, Trivia nights, a Pool league, at least once a month a DJ/Karaoke
night and much more. There's a jukebox on the wall near the pool table that has an internet connection
to download songs so there's music for everyone.

There are one or two things that are kind of a downer for the bar. Lack of food hurts a little but not too
badly since they allow outside food in the bar. Also several local restaurants deliver to the bar. On the
weekends (Thurs, Fri, Sat nights) the bar gets pretty crowded. With so many people there lines for the
bathrooms get a little long and people stand in front of the dart board and pool tables making it a little
difficult to play.

It is a very nice bar. Great atmosphere and good pricing. Plenty of things to do. If you're not into
crowds you may want to go during the week but even those days are starting to fill up with the lack of
other similar bars in the area. A great bar overall.
