Well the rumors have been flying. Will apple finally unveil a tablet to rule our lives? Will it just be an oversized Ipod
touch or will it be more like Iphone? How many vital organs will we need to sell to purchase one of these holy tablets
if they do exist?

First lets get all these rumors in one place to help fantasize about how you're life will be with this tablet that will
probably not have any of these features that everyone is speculating on.
Preview: Apple Event January 27th, 2010
The Facts:

Lets face it facts just get in the way. Luckily we'll be able to get thru this pretty fast. Apple is holding a "special
event"  at 10am PST on January 27th. It will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San
Francisco.

Ok now that we got that out of the way, lets move on to some hints we've been given.

Hints (things that help us make up random things we think have to be true)

Written on the invitation
(no I didn't receive one, thanks a ton apple) was: come see our latest creation. This
would seem to conclude that a completely new product is in the works. Unlike some peoples thoughts that a
new IPhone or IPod touch will be delivered.

According to Apple's first quarter results press release, Steve Jobs is quoted as saying "The new products
we are planning to release this year are very strong, starting this week with a major new product that we're
really excited about."  Score another point for brand new products and possibly a tablet.

Over at 9to5mac they say they've talked to some over their sources who have confirmed that Apple has been
in talks with several book publishers. Although no device was shown to them they were told it was for a "a
very-readable 10-inch glass screen smaller in size than the Kindle DX with a similar weight." They also have
reportedly been told that it won't cost anywhere near the $1,000 mark that everyone is guessing at
(which
would be great news if it meant less than $1,000 but since it's Apple will probably be over)
. Read more from

One thing I firmly believe is that it will be almost impossible for whatever this thing is to live up to its hype. But
then again I thought the IPhone would have the same problem and I was dead wrong. Apple is definitely a
champion at getting people worked up over products that may or may not exist. If they do release a tablet I
believe for it to be a success would need to be under $500
(which is almost impossible as it would fight with
the IPod Touch and IPhone)
, need to have both Wi-Fi and 3G (hopefully subsidized by whatever companies
apple teams with)
, and will need to be more than just a color ebook reader (I'm talking apps for everything
from reading magazines, becoming a universal remote control, working as a mini entertainment center, to
something so spectacular I can't even think of it yet
(Maybe wheels pop out and it vacuums my floor or brings
me alcohol)
.

With all of the speculation swirling around most of it is pointing towards some sort of tablet. Apple even
already owns the rights to islate.com
(they grabbed it back in '07). But that's not stopping others of imagining
all sorts of other things Apple may announce.

Could it be a new ITunes software or website? Apple did just buy Lala.com for some cloud music
streaming...

Could there be a new IPhone or IPod Touch version on the way?
According to Gizmodo, Web Analytics picked
up up to 50 new Apple tablet type devices running a new version of the IPhone OS (OS 3.2)
